Burger Peak, Pine Valley Mountain Wilderness, Utah
Driving Directions:
Head north out of St. George on Utah state Route 18 for approximately 25 miles to the small town of Central. Take a right turn onto E. Center Street/Pine Valley Highway and drive east for about 8 miles to the town of Pine Valley. Turn left onto E. Main Street and drive for approximately .7 miles. Look for signs indicating the Forsyth Canyon Trail. Turn right onto Meadows Drive and follow this dirt road for about half a mile to Forsyth trailhead. Park here in large parking lot with kiosk sign.

From Forsyth Trailhead, head south on trail for 6.1 miles on Summit Trail to spur trail that heads to the left up toward Burger Peak. This part of the hike gains 3,500 feet. You will pass an intersection at the beginning of the hike and then another one 5.6 miles into the hike. At 6.1 miles, take left onto spur trail, head ~ .3 - .4 miles to Burger Peak summit.
